Care of the Adult with a Chronic Illness or Disability equips nurses working in a variety of community care settings with the tools and knowledge needed for caring for the adult patient living with a chronic or disabling condition. Nursing care is addressed within the interdisciplinary team approach necessary for handling complex chronic conditions and the attendant physical and psychosocial issues.
