Reviews

"How refreshing to open a book and be impressed immediately. Yhis texrbook provides material in a workable and eye-catching layout, complemented by excellent illustrations. It is the first textbook to encompass the snmall animal, exotic and equine elements of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons veterinary nusrsing syllabus and therefore provides essential study material for every veterinary nursing student... A book such as this will continue to provide the groundwork for good veterinary nursing tecniques whichever method is employed."

The Veterinary Record, Sep 06, Caroline Martin.

"...a superb book. It is vast in size and has an amazing amount of information contained within in it. there is no doubt that this book is essential for any practise library. It is a very valuable text for all veterinary nurses, but it is also a useful reference by veterinary surgeons, and also other members of the practise staff aswell, in my opinion, being a must for any veterinary student. The information is clearly and concisely presented in user friendly manner. There are large numbers of clear diagrams incorporated in all section, and the presentation is often in bullet pointed-lists and tables... At the end of each section there is a comprehensive bibliography and lists of references for further reading have also been incorporate. the notes regarding the recommended reading references are an excellent idea too, beacause they briefly state the information that will be found in each. The appendices on essential calculations and normal values at the end of the book are very valuable additions, as is the detailed index, which is so important in a book of this size... it does include all the subjects that make up a nurse's duties, be it a new student, or the most experienced nurse working in a referral practice or other allied field, in which veterinary nurses are now empliyed."

Veterinary Nursing Times, Heather Briggs, Nov 2006
